Johannes Gorkotte

Johannes Gorkotte studied medicine at Ludwig Maximilians University Munich and the Technical University of Munich. He initially worked clinically in the Clinic for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine at the university hospital „Klinikum rechts der Isar“ in Munich and then in the Department of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at the Juraklinik Scheßlitz. During his subsequent outpatient training, he worked in paediatrics and general practice. He also gained an additional qualification in emergency medicine and works as an emergency doctor.

 

Johannes Gorkotte has been working at the Institute of General Practice since October 2021. He serves as a teaching coordinator, responsible for lectures and elective courses. He also co-manages the BeLA project (Best Country General Medicine), which aims to introduce students to general practice in rural areas. Since October 2023, Mr. Gorkotte has been enrolled in the postgraduate Master’s degree in Medical Education at Heidelberg University. He has been working as a resident physician in general practice at MVZ Eckental since December 2023.
