Citizens' advisory board

The General Medical Institute and BayFoNet cordially invite you to the Citizens' Advisory Board!

The Citizens' Advisory Board is aimed at all citizens who are interested in volunteering in the Research Department of General Medicine at the University Hospital Erlangen for projects and funding applications and to advise the researchers. The goal is to bring the view of citizens into the world of science. The citizens' advisory board is also intended to serve as an exchange platform for citizens and scientists and to invite them to talk to each other, to discuss general medical research and, if desired, to actively participate in research projects.

Who can participate?

People aged 18 and higher who are interested in research and general medicine and who would like to contribute their experience and opinions to the citizens' advisory board are invited to join. No special prior knowledge or experience is necessary.

What does participation look like?

In the citizens' advisory board we want to discuss all steps in projects and studies with you. We are interested in your perspective on our research ideas, your opinion on study materials, and your feedback on the implementation of research findings. Participation is free of charge.

How does the Citizens' Advisory Board take place?

In general the citizens advisory board meets four times per year. The meetings take place in presence or digitally.
