Curriculum Vitae
Laura Rink studied Sociology at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg. After working as a project manager in medical market research, she has been a research associate at the Institute of General Practice since July 2021. At the beginning of 2025, she completed her doctoral dissertation at the institute on the topic “Assessment of functional health in older adults in general practice.”
Scientific and educational activities
Laura Rink is currently working as a research associate in the research projects H-Überweisung, ChroMo, EMOPROM and TheraTrain. In addition, she coordinates the BayFoNet-Ideenwerkstätten and the BayFoNet-Fortbildungsreihe at the Erlangen site.
Her research interests focus in particular on patient navigation in ambulatory care and science communication. Methodologically, she has expertise in qualitative and quantitative research, including mixed-methods approaches.
