The Interdisciplinary Center for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and Public Health (IZPH) was working on the PRO PRICARE ACE project.

The Interdisciplinary Center for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and Public Health (IZPH) is a multi-disciplinary research center involving different faculties of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). It merges comprehensive findings from health care science, economics, and social sciences as well as technology. The IZPH represents the scientific platform for medical professionals, statutory health care providers, managers and decision makers in the field of multidisciplinary public health services resear

Research:

The focus of the ICPH lies in health services research of chronic diseases, in particular widespread diseases like dementia and stroke and other diseases relevant for public health. The German Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF), the German Federal Ministry for Health (BMG) and the Bavarian State Government are currently funding the supra-regional population registry which is analyzing the disease history, the need of care and the health-economic impacts of these widespread diseases.
